Invite people to your community

Invite people by email, or share one join link that anyone can use to join your community.

For community leadersUpdated Oct 27, 2026

Owners and admins can invite people. Switch to your community in the workspace menu first.

Invite by email

  1. Open Members and choose Invite people.
  2. Paste the addresses under Email addresses, one per line or separated by commas. A column copied from a spreadsheet works. You can send up to 200 at a time.
  3. Under They join as, pick Member or Admin. Only the owner can invite admins.
  4. Choose Send invitation (with several addresses, the button counts them).

People who already have an account join right away. Everyone else gets an email with a link that works for 7 days.

Share a join link

One link you can post anywhere, instead of collecting emails.

  1. In Invite people, under Share a join link, choose Create link.
  2. Choose Copy link, or Share on a phone, and post it where your people are.

Anyone with the link joins as a member, without applying first. People new to StartupCorners sign up with a work email (in a school community, any email works).

You can also find the join link under Manage workspace (the gear in the sidebar), on the Sharing tab, and copy it from the sidebar's Share menu with Copy join link.

  • Reset link makes a new link. The old one stops working, and everyone who already joined stays.
  • Turn off stops the link. Nobody can join with it until you create a new one.

Below the join link, Your own link works the same way and shows how many people signed up through you.

Follow up on invitations

On Members, the Pending invitations tab lists emails nobody has accepted yet. Send again sends a fresh 7-day link, and Revoke invitation cancels one.

On your own website

The Sharing tab also has On your website: a card with Join community or Apply to join for your own site. See Put your community, program or event on your website.
