Top Startup Funding Rounds: September 25, 2026 Daily Recap

A busy funding day saw raises span enterprise AI, agentic security, modular robotics, invoice financing, and a landmark European defence fund close.

Enterprise AI and Agentic Platforms Lead the Day

The largest single company raise of the day came from the agentic workflow space, reinforcing investor conviction that enterprise automation is still in early innings.

  • Ema, an enterprise AI startup whose agentic platform automates cross-functional workflows, raised $77M in a Series B round led by Creaegis. Proceeds will fund go-to-market expansion and entry into new geographies.
  • Dextr AI, emerging from stealth, closed $6.7M in seed funding to deploy AI agents that handle hotel reservations, guest requests, and staff coordination across the hospitality industry. No lead investor was disclosed.
  • 50skills, a Reykjavik-based HR workflow automation platform, raised approximately $6M (EUR 5.3M) in a round co-led by Frumtak Ventures, Swiss Post Ventures, and Avant.

Seed and Pre-Seed: Infrastructure, Security, and Fintech

Earlier-stage rounds were spread across developer infrastructure, AI security, and working-capital fintech, with Europe accounting for the majority of deal flow.

  • Kontext, an AI agent runtime security company, raised $4M in a round led by 42CAP, with participation from a16z CSX and HTGF.
  • Clastix, a Naples-based infrastructure company building sovereign Kubernetes management tooling for European enterprises, raised approximately $3M (EUR 2.9M) in seed funding led by CDP Venture Capital Sgr, with participation from Mistral and Vertis SGR.
  • OWOW Venture Studio, based in Eindhoven and focused on B2B startups in manufacturing and original equipment sectors, secured approximately $3M (EUR 2.65M) from eight family offices and angel investors.
  • Duqu, an Amsterdam-based fintech that advances cash against outstanding B2B invoices using an AI underwriting engine, raised approximately $2M (EUR 1.5M) in pre-seed funding from Curiosity VC and No Such Ventures.
  • O-ID, a Tokyo-based company founded by Europeans and building modular humanoid robots for industrial manufacturing and logistics, closed $1.2M in pre-seed funding. No lead investor was named.
  • Reply Next, an AI platform for managing the digital presence of multi-location businesses, raised approximately $440K (EUR 400K) in pre-seed funding led by 4Founders Capital.

Debt and Fund-Level Capital

Two larger vehicles rounded out the day, one on the debt side and one at the fund level.

  • Metycle, a Cologne-based supplier of secondary copper and aluminium, secured approximately $150M (EUR 131.7M) in a credit facility provided by Rivonia Road Capital, earmarked for scaling its materials supply operations.
  • DTCP held a first close of EUR 455M for its DTCP Defence Fund I, which targets Europe's strategic and defence technology ecosystem. Backers include major European institutional and strategic investors.

Trends Worth Noting

Today's activity reinforces a few durable signals. AI agents are attracting capital at nearly every stage, from Dextr AI's seed round aimed at a single vertical (hospitality) to Ema's growth-stage bet on broad enterprise automation. The concentration of seed deals in Europe, particularly around sovereign infrastructure and fintech, reflects ongoing momentum from EU regulatory tailwinds and a maturing pre-seed investor base. The DTCP defence fund close is notable not just for its size but for the institutional composition of its backers, suggesting that defence tech is moving from a niche thesis to a mainstream allocation category among European LPs. Finally, Metycle's large credit facility is a reminder that climate-adjacent industrial businesses, particularly those handling secondary metals for the green transition, are increasingly attractive to asset-backed lenders even when equity markets are selective.
