Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these Terms
StartupCorners (the "Service," "Platform") is operated by Linked Corners Inc, a Delaware C-corporation registered in the United States ("Linked Corners," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Platform.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. If you're between 16 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Platform with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
If you're using the Platform on behalf of an organization (a startup, accelerator, fund, or similar), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information when signing up.
- Keep your credentials confidential.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or third-party right
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or harmful
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, company, or fundraising state
- Scrape, copy, or republish other users' content without permission
- Attempt to bypass authentication or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise probe the Service
- Use the Service to make investment decisions on behalf of others without proper licensing in your jurisdiction
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Egregious violations (e.g. fraud) may be reported to law enforcement.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform (your profile, files, posts, KPIs, deck, investor pipeline, and so on).
You grant Linked Corners a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit your content as needed to operate the Service (for example, to render your public profile to viewers you authorise).
You're responsible for the content you upload. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
6. Public profiles and shareable links
StartupCorners is built around a single shareable link per startup. By choosing to make your profile public or by issuing share links, you understand that:
- Anyone with the link can view the content you've made visible.
- Per-link visibility settings let you control which sections each recipient sees.
- Search engines may index your public profile and cache copies. We can remove your profile from our systems but cannot remove third-party caches.
- If you cancel your account, your link can redirect or return a clean 410 — your choice (request via support).
7. AI features
AI features (drafting outreach, finding matching investors, summarising updates) are powered by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic). Outputs are model-generated suggestions, not guarantees of accuracy or outcome.
You're responsible for reviewing AI outputs before sending, publishing, or otherwise relying on them. We don't guarantee that AI suggestions are correct, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

8. Payments and credits
StartupCorners is free to use. Core features (profile, investor pipeline, KPI tracker, investor updates, community) have no recurring fee.
AI features run on a credits system. Credits are one-time purchases — not subscriptions.
No auto-renewal
We do not automatically charge you. You purchase credits explicitly when you choose to top up. If you enable auto-top-up in your settings, that requires your explicit one-time setup and can be disabled at any time.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase for any unused credit balance. Once credits are consumed, they are non-refundable. To request a refund, email hello@startupcorners.com from the address on your account within 14 days of purchase. We process the refund through Stripe and zero out the unused balance. Refunds typically clear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Self-serve refund is on the roadmap.
Cancellation
There is no subscription to cancel. Your account remains free indefinitely. To delete your account, see section 13.
Founding Member benefits
Founding Members receive a one-time $120 grant of AI credits, valid for 6 months from the date of grant. Unused credits expire at the 6-month mark. Founding Member status is limited to the first 100 founders to sign up via the dedicated programme entry point. Other Founding Member benefits (in-app chat with the founders, roadmap voting) are described on the Founding Members page.
Pricing changes
We may change credit-pack prices going forward. Any change will be announced before it takes effect and will not retroactively affect credits you've already purchased.
9. Intellectual property
The Service — including software, design, brand, copy, and trademarks — is owned by Linked Corners Inc and protected by US and international law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service.
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to hello@startupcorners.com. Our designated DMCA agent is the founder.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linked Corners disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We don't guarantee:
- That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That AI outputs are accurate or appropriate for your situation
- That you'll raise capital, find an investor, or get into a programme by using the Service
- That investors or accelerators on the Platform will respond, fund, or accept you
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linked Corners' total liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) US$100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Linked Corners is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linked Corners and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim arising out of (i) your violation of these Terms, (ii) your content, or (iii) your violation of any third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email hello@startupcorners.com from the address on your account; we confirm within 48 hours, then soft-delete your data for 30 days before permanently removing it. Self-serve account deletion is on the roadmap. See section 10 of the Privacy Policy for full retention details.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your continued use creates legal or operational risk for the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to cure.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service before the effective date.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the Delaware Court of Chancery or federal courts located in Delaware, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the user's country or state of residence apply.
For users in the EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protections, those rights remain available to you and are not waived by this section.
16. General
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — we'll notify you 30 days in advance if your data handling changes as a result.
- Entire agreement: these Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any policies we link from this document) constitute the entire agreement between you and Linked Corners regarding the Service.
