Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

StartupCorners (the "Service," "Platform") is operated by Linked Corners Inc, a Delaware C-corporation registered in the United States ("Linked Corners," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Platform.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. If you're between 16 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Platform with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

If you're using the Platform on behalf of an organization (a startup, accelerator, fund, or similar), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information when signing up.
• Keep your credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party right
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or harmful
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, company, or fundraising state
• Scrape, copy, or republish other users' content without permission
• Attempt to bypass authentication or access controls
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise probe the Service
• Use the Service to make investment decisions on behalf of others without proper licensing in your jurisdiction

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Egregious violations (e.g. fraud) may be reported to law enforcement.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform (your profile, files, posts, KPIs, deck, investor pipeline, and so on).

You grant Linked Corners a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit your content as needed to operate the Service (for example, to render your public profile to viewers you authorise).

You're responsible for the content you upload. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

6. Public profiles and shareable links

StartupCorners is built around a single shareable link per startup. By choosing to make your profile public or by issuing share links, you understand that:

• Anyone with the link can view the content you've made visible.
• Per-link visibility settings let you control which sections each recipient sees.
• Search engines may index your public profile and cache copies. We can remove your profile from our systems but cannot remove third-party caches.
• If you cancel your account, your link can redirect or return a clean 410 — your choice (request via support).

7. AI features

AI features (drafting outreach, finding matching investors, summarising updates) are powered by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic). Outputs are model-generated suggestions, not guarantees of accuracy or outcome.

You're responsible for reviewing AI outputs before sending, publishing, or otherwise relying on them. We don't guarantee that AI suggestions are correct, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

8. Payments and AI credits

StartupCorners is free to use. Core features (profile, investor pipeline, KPI tracker, investor updates, community) have no recurring fee.

AI features use prepaid AI credits. You buy credits in US dollars with one-time payments, at 1,000 credits per $1. Buying credits is not a subscription. The only subscription is Plus, which is optional (see below).

Larger one-time purchases add bonus credits. A purchase of $25 or more adds 4%, $50 or more adds 10%, and $100 or more adds 15%. For example, $25 buys 26,000 credits and $100 buys 115,000 credits. Auto top-up purchases get the same bonus.

Every account receives 5,000 credits once, at sign-up. Every account also receives 1,000 free credits each month. Monthly credits are used first, before any other credits. They do not carry over to the next month: each month, on the day you signed up, your monthly credits reset to 1,000. While you have Plus, its monthly credits take the place of these free credits (see Plus below).

Free and promotional credits, including the sign-up and monthly credits, have no cash value and cannot be refunded. Credits you buy never expire.

Bonus credits on larger purchases are promotional credits. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded on their own. They are added with the credits you buy and, like them, never expire.

Plus

Plus is an optional monthly subscription. It costs $20 a month and gives you 25,000 credits every month. You pay by card through Stripe. Plus renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Billing. Plus and what is left of its credits then stay until the end of the month you already paid for. After that, the free 1,000 monthly credits come back. A Plus month you have not used can be refunded (see Refunds below).

Plus credits are used first, before any other credits. They do not carry over to the next month. While Plus runs, its 25,000 credits replace the free 1,000 monthly credits. They are not added on top. Plus does not change credits you buy separately: they never expire.

Renewals and automatic charges

One-time credit purchases never renew. You buy credits explicitly when you choose to top up. Plus renews each month, and we charge your card $20 each month until you cancel it. If you turn on auto top-up, we charge your saved card the amount you chose whenever your balance falls below the threshold you set. Auto top-up requires your explicit one-time setup and can be disabled at any time. We make no other automatic charges.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment. Email hello@startupcorners.com from the address on your account. We refund through Stripe, or through Google Play for purchases made in the app. Refunds typically clear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. Self-serve refund is on the roadmap.

One-time purchases. If none of the purchase's credits are used, we refund it in full. If some are used, we refund in proportion: we compare the credits you have left, not counting monthly or Plus credits, with the credits the purchase added, bonus included. For example, $50 added 55,000 credits; with 44,000 left, we refund $40. Once all of a purchase's credits are used, it is not refundable. A refund removes the refunded credits from your balance.

Plus. If you have not used any of a month's Plus credits, we refund that month in full and Plus ends. Once you have used some of them, that month is not refundable, but you can cancel so the next month is not charged.

Cancellation

You can cancel Plus at any time in Billing. It stays, with what is left of its credits, until the end of the month you already paid for. Otherwise there is no subscription to cancel. Your account remains free indefinitely. To delete your account, see section 14.

Founding Member benefits

The Founding Member programme closed to new members on 31 October 2026. Founding Members who joined before then keep their status and roadmap vote, and the one-time grant of 120,000 credits they received, valid for 6 months. Unused grant credits expire at the 6-month mark.

Pricing changes

We may change top-up amounts, bonus credits, the price of Plus or the credits it gives each month, how many credits each dollar buys, or how many credits AI features use. Changes never reduce credits you have already paid for. Any change will be announced before it takes effect.

9. Intellectual property

The Service — including software, design, brand, copy, and trademarks — is owned by Linked Corners Inc and protected by US and international law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service.

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to hello@startupcorners.com. Our designated DMCA agent is the founder.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linked Corners disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't guarantee:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That AI outputs are accurate or appropriate for your situation
• That you'll raise capital, find an investor, or get into a programme by using the Service
• That investors or accelerators on the Platform will respond, fund, or accept you

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linked Corners' total liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) US$100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Linked Corners is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linked Corners and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim arising out of (i) your violation of these Terms, (ii) your content, or (iii) your violation of any third-party right.

13. SMS Terms

StartupCorners, operated by Linked Corners Inc, sends account text messages (sign-in codes, meeting reminders and alerts about new messages) only to users who opt in under Settings > Notifications by entering a mobile number and ticking the consent box.

• Message frequency varies with your account activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to cancel; you will get one text confirming it and no more after that. You can also turn text messages off in Settings.
• Reply HELP for help, or email hello@startupcorners.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email hello@startupcorners.com from the address on your account; we confirm within 48 hours, then soft-delete your data for 30 days before permanently removing it. Self-serve account deletion is on the roadmap. See section 10 of the Privacy Policy for full retention details.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your continued use creates legal or operational risk for the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to cure.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service before the effective date.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the Delaware Court of Chancery or federal courts located in Delaware, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the user's country or state of residence apply.

For users in the EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protections, those rights remain available to you and are not waived by this section.

17. General

• Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — we'll notify you 30 days in advance if your data handling changes as a result.
• Entire agreement: these Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any policies we link from this document) constitute the entire agreement between you and Linked Corners regarding the Service.
