Top Startup Funding Rounds: June 26, 2026 Daily Recap

The Headline Round: Alan's €480M Series G

The day's standout raise came from French digital health insurer Alan, which closed a €480M Series G led by Prosus at a reported valuation of €5.5B. The round follows just months after a €100M raise, signaling continued investor conviction in European health insurance infrastructure built around AI-driven care navigation.

  • Alan (France, health insurance): €480M Series G, led by Prosus

Growth-Stage Rounds

Beyond Alan, several growth-stage companies secured meaningful capital to expand operations or enter new markets.

  • Leyden Labs (Netherlands, respiratory biotech): €40M, backed by the European Innovation Council Fund, Invest-NL, the Gates Foundation Strategic Investment Fund, and ClavystBio. The company is developing a nasal spray platform to protect against influenza and coronaviruses.
  • Almetra (Germany, manufacturing intelligence): €16M Series A, led by Blisce, with participation from NAP, Merantix Capital, and others. The Berlin-based company, formerly known as Deltia, is partnered with Bosch and Siemens Energy and plans to expand into the US market.
  • SuperLiving (India, health content): $7M Series A, led by Lightspeed. Funds will go toward AI capabilities, vernacular content, and expansion into new health categories.

Early-Stage and Seed Raises

Smaller rounds rounded out the day, covering a range of verticals from regulatory compliance to water access.

  • HR Duo (Ireland, HRTech): €2M (approximately), led by Puma Growth Partners with support from Enterprise Ireland. The company serves frontline-heavy SMEs and plans to grow its UK sales team.
  • Wayout International (Sweden, water infrastructure): €2M Series A extension. The company operates a decentralized drinking water infrastructure platform.
  • Serpier (Denmark, e-commerce marketing): €1M (approximately), from True Collective and the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO). Serpier helps online retailers improve digital visibility through an AI-powered platform.
  • Kalipso (Spain, regulatory compliance): $3M, backed by undisclosed investors. The Barcelona-based platform helps organizations operationalize regulatory change, built by lawyers and engineers.

Ecosystem and Infrastructure News

Beyond individual company raises, two institutional moves stood out as signals of broader market health.

Blue Lake VC, a UK-based fund focused on immigrant-led startups and founded by Ukrainians David Gilgur and Lyubov Guk, secured a cornerstone commitment from the British Business Bank as it closes in on its first fund.

Separately, the British Business Bank announced it is committing up to €104M to support a new generation of UK venture capital fund managers under the Microfunds segment of its Investor Pathways Capital initiative. This is the first deployment of capital from that €464M program and is designed to back emerging fund managers who might otherwise struggle to attract institutional anchor investors.

Amazon also confirmed an additional $13B investment commitment in India from 2026 to 2030, spanning cloud, logistics, and retail infrastructure, though this is a corporate deployment rather than a startup funding round.

What Today's Raises Signal

The June 26 funding picture reflects two simultaneous dynamics in the market. At the top end, health tech continues to command outsized rounds, with Alan's Series G underscoring that European insurtech has moved well past the proof-of-concept stage and into a phase where scale capital is justified. At the seed and early Series A level, the spread across manufacturing intelligence, regulatory compliance, water infrastructure, and HRTech suggests that investors are still actively writing first checks into unsexy but structurally important categories. The British Business Bank's double commitment, both to Blue Lake VC and through its Microfunds program, adds a policy tailwind to that early-stage picture, particularly for underrepresented founders building in Europe.
