Funding Recap June 23 2026: Billion-Dollar Raises and Deep Tech Surges

Mega and Late-Stage Rounds

The largest headline of the day comes from India, where CRED is set to close a Series H worth approximately $900M, led by Meta. The capital is earmarked for growth initiatives and to strengthen the fintech company's path toward a public listing, with founder Kunal Shah also taking on a leadership role at WhatsApp.

Marketing analytics platform AppsFlyer secured more than $1B in a Series E, with the company eyeing public markets after the raise. No lead investor was publicly named at the time of reporting.

Dutch semiconductor metrology firm Nearfield Instruments closed a $380M Series D, valuing the company at $1.6B. The Netherlands-based company builds specialized measurement and inspection tools used in chip manufacturing, a sector attracting intense capital as the global semiconductor supply chain remains a strategic priority.

Series A Standouts

Biopharma was well represented at the Series A stage.

  • Bionyra Pharma (Paris and Boston): $165M Series A, co-led by Jeito Capital and Sofinnova Partners, to advance next-generation biologics for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. The round was oversubscribed and marks the company's public launch.
  • Prosper AI (healthcare administration): $30M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Base10, to consolidate AI tools managing the full patient journey for healthcare providers.
  • Isometric (London): $40M Series A led by AVP, to scale its AI-powered certification platform targeting the industrial certification market.

Seed and Early-Stage Activity

Earlier-stage deals showed geographic breadth across Europe.

  • Grid.online (Czech Republic): $4M seed led by DFF Ventures and co-led by Movens Capital, after the last-mile logistics startup scaled parcel volumes more than 10x in its first year.
  • Acodyne (Copenhagen): $3M pre-seed co-led by Gungnir Capital and Hafnium, to develop unmanned eVTOL cargo aircraft for defence and offshore logistics.
  • Graph Therapeutics (precision immunology): $5M led by Daphni, bringing total funding past $10M.
  • Superpal (Vilnius): $550K led by FIRSTPICK, for an AI coworker platform embedded inside Slack.

Fund News

Seedcamp closed its seventh fund at $320M across two vehicles: a $220M core seed fund and a $100M select fund for follow-on investments in top performers. The London-based firm, which backed Revolut, Wise, UiPath, and Synthesia at seed stage, said it will use the new capital to expand its presence in the United States after 18 years focused primarily on Europe.

Trends Worth Watching

Today's raises reinforce several durable themes. The volume of pre-IPO capital flowing into profitable or near-profitable companies, as seen with CRED and AppsFlyer, suggests the IPO window is opening wider for mature private companies with clear revenue stories. Semiconductor tooling continues to attract outsized rounds, with Nearfield Instruments joining a growing list of hardware companies benefiting from global chip sovereignty spending. On the life sciences side, the size of Bionyra Pharma's oversubscribed Series A points to sustained investor appetite for inflammation biologics, a category that has produced several large commercial successes in recent years. Finally, Seedcamp's US expansion signals that European seed investors are increasingly unwilling to cede American deal flow to domestic rivals, a competitive shift that could reshape early-stage dynamics on both sides of the Atlantic.
