Read a link's timeline

Open a link on the Links screen to see each time it was opened, which tabs were viewed and for how long.

For foundersUpdated Oct 25, 2026

Every individual link keeps a record of what its person did on your page.

Open a link

  1. Open Links from the sidebar. Links that were opened most recently come first.
  2. Select a row. On a phone, tap the link's card.

The panel shows:

  • The numbers: Opens, Tab views, Time spent, Deck opens, Doc opens and Distinct IPs.
  • The link's settings: Hidden tabs, Pitch deck download, Expires and Personal note.
  • Data room files, if you attached any, with how often each one was viewed and downloaded.
  • Pitch deck slides, when your deck was made in StartupCorners: how long they spent on each slide, and where they stopped, like "Stopped at slide 4 of 10".
  • The Event timeline, newest first, with the date and time of each event.

What the timeline shows

  • Profile view: the link was opened.
  • Tab view: a tab was opened, like "Tab view · Team".
  • Time spent: how long they stayed, like "Time spent · 2m 10s".
  • Pitch deck view: they opened your deck. For a deck made in StartupCorners, each slide they saw shows with its time, like "Pitch deck · slide 3 of 10 · 42s".
  • File view and File download: they opened or downloaded a data room file, with its name.

Until the first open, it says "Not opened yet."

The funnel

At the top of Links, the Funnel adds up all your links: Sent, Opened, Deep-viewed and Pitch deck opened. Deep-viewed means 30 seconds or more, or 2 or more tabs.

On Home

Recent opens also show on Home under Your focus today, like "Sophie opened your link twice", with Follow up.
