Claim a page that already exists

If your company already has a page on StartupCorners that nobody manages, claim it instead of making a new one.

Some startups, organizations and investment firms are listed on StartupCorners before anyone from them signs up. If yours is one of them, you can take over its page and manage it. Its link stays the same.

During sign-up

When you sign up as a Startup, Organization or Investment firm, we look for a page nobody manages whose website is on the same domain as your work email.

  1. After you type the code, you see "We found your page. Is this you?" with up to three pages.
  2. Choose This is us on yours.
  3. Add Your name and a Password, then choose Create your link.

The page is now yours to edit. If none of them is yours, choose Create a new page and we build a fresh one from your website.

Only the website stored on the page counts. A page without a website, or with a website on another domain, is never offered to you.

From the page itself

A startup page made from a mention in a StartupCorners digest shows a banner asking "Is it yours?"

  1. Choose Claim its page.
  2. If you are not signed in, choose Create your account and sign up with your work email at that company.
  3. If you are signed in, choose Send the link. We email a confirmation link to your address. Only an email on the company's website domain can claim the page.

If the page has no website on file, the button is Ask to claim instead. We check that your email belongs to the company, then confirm by email.

If you see "This page is already claimed", the page is managed by its team. Ask them to add you.
