Top Accelerator Deadlines for Founders: Week of July 29, 2026

Accelerator Application Deadlines: Week of July 29, 2026

If you are actively fundraising or building toward your first institutional round, the next several weeks are critical. Six programs are currently accepting applications, spanning pre-seed co-founder matching to late-seed growth acceleration. Here is a breakdown by stage, ranked by deadline.

Pre-Seed

  • On Deck Apply by Aug 15, 2026. Focused on founders who are pre-product and working through idea validation. Ideal for solo founders or early pairs who want structured community and mentorship before committing to a product path. Apply here
  • Antler Apply by Sep 30, 2026. A residency program designed for pre-team founders who want help finding a co-founder and securing a first cheque simultaneously. Antler operates across multiple global cities, so check availability in your region. Apply here
  • Entrepreneur First Apply by Oct 15, 2026. A talent-first model built around co-founder matching before a company is formally incorporated. EF invests in individuals, not teams, making it one of the few programs suited to founders who are starting completely solo. Apply here

Seed

  • Techstars Apply by Aug 15, 2026. With more than 40 vertical-specific programs globally, Techstars offers sector-focused acceleration across industries including healthcare, fintech, energy, and defense. Check the program directory to find the cohort most relevant to your market. Apply here
  • 500 Global (Founders Fund Track) Apply by Sep 01, 2026. Targeted at late-seed companies approaching Series A readiness. The program emphasizes growth-stage acceleration, distribution strategy, and investor introductions at scale. Apply here

Series A

  • Y Combinator (Winter 2027) Apply by Sep 25, 2026. YC accepts companies at all stages but has shown increasing interest in AI, hard tech, fintech, and climate. The Winter 2027 batch will interview in late fall, with the program running early 2027. Despite accepting founders at all stages, YC's network and demo day carry the most leverage for companies approaching or at Series A. Apply here

How to Prioritise

Founders who are still validating an idea or searching for a co-founder should focus first on On Deck, Antler, or Entrepreneur First, since those programs are built for the earliest stage of company formation. Founders with a working product, early revenue, or a defined growth thesis should prioritise Techstars, 500 Global, and Y Combinator, weighting their effort toward whichever program aligns most closely with their sector and current traction level.
